1. Agreement to Terms
By booking, purchasing or attending any class, event or consultation with Grams of Health, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services Covered
These Terms apply to:
● Cooking classes and workshops
● Group programs and events
● Private and group nutrition consultations and seminars
● NDIS-funded services
● Corporate and community programs
● Gift vouchers
3. Bookings & Payments
● Bookings are confirmed once full payment is received (unless otherwise agreed). ● Prices are listed in AUD and include GST where applicable.
● Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
4. Cooking Classes & Events – Cancellations
● Transfers or credits may be offered at our discretion with sufficient notice. ● No refunds are provided for non-attendance.
● You may transfer your booking to another person if you cannot attend. Specific cancellation terms may be provided at the time of booking.
5. Nutrition Consultations – Cancellations
● Nutrition consultations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
● Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur a fee of up to 100% of the consultation cost, including for private and NDIS clients where permitted.
6. NDIS Services
For NDIS-funded services:
● Cancellations and charges are managed in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Service Agreement.
● Where a separate Service Agreement exists, that agreement will take precedence.
7. Scope of Practice & Disclaimer
Nutrition services provided by Grams of Health are for nutrition education and therapeutic support only and do not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Clients should consult their GP or medical specialist regarding medical conditions, medications, or changes to treatment.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
● Provide accurate and complete health information
● Disclose allergies, medical conditions and medications
● Follow food safety and hygiene instructions during classes
We are not responsible for outcomes impacted by incomplete or inaccurate information.
9. Informed Consent
By booking and attending nutrition consultations, you acknowledge that:
● You understand the nature and limitations of nutrition therapy
● Outcomes vary between individuals
● No specific results can be guaranteed
10. Telehealth Consultations
Telehealth services are delivered via secure platforms. While reasonable steps are taken to ensure privacy and reliability, we are not responsible for technical issues outside our control.
11. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
Dietary requirements must be advised at the time of booking. While we endeavour to accommodate needs, this cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed in advance.
Participants with allergies attend at their own risk.
12. Conduct & Safety
Participants must follow instructions from staff at all times. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove participants for unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.
13. Photography & Media
Photographs or videos may be taken during classes or events for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of such images unless you notify us in writing prior to the event.
14. Liability & Risk
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
● Participation in classes and consultations is at your own risk
● Grams of Health is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from participation This does not exclude rights under Australian Consumer Law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
