Medicare Rebates for Dietitian Appointments:

If you have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for dietitian consultations.

Under a GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangement, eligible patients can access up to 5 allied health visits per calendar year, which may include an Accredited Practising Dietitian.

At Grams of Health, our Dietitians are Medicare providers and can process your rebate at the time of your appointment, making the process simple and convenient.

If you're unsure whether you're eligible, we recommend speaking with your GP.

Private Health Insurance Rebates:

Most private health funds provide rebates for dietitian consultations under extras cover.

As Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs), our services are recognised by major Australian private health insurers. The rebate amount depends on your level of cover.

We can provide you with a receipt to claim directly through your health fund. No GP referral is needed for private health claims.
